Jeremiah 38:13
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਸਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਖਿਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਗਾਰਦ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਹਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਰਦ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਨਬਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਬੰਦ ਰਿਹਾ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਰੋਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਰੋਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਕੇ ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਟੋਆ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਾਰਦ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਾਰਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਗਾਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੁਭ ਗਿਆ।
Jeremiah 38:28
ਇਸ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਗਾਰਦ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੀ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਦਲਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਗਦਲਯਾਹ ਅਹੀਕਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਅਹੀਕਾਮ ਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਗਦਲਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ।
Acts 24:23
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਿਓ।
