ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਪੰਦਰ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਨੌਵਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ।

Jeremiah 36:1
