Jeremiah 28:11
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਣ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜੂਲਾ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ-ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਜੂਲਾ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।’” ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

“ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਜੂਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨਬੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ, ‘ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।’ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਮਨ ਭਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ, ‘ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੰਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰੇਗੀ!’
Jeremiah 14:14
ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਝੂਠੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ, ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਜਾਦੂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਫ਼ਹਿਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Proverbs 14:7

ਨਬੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਨਾਨਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਸੀ। ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗ ਬਣਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫੁਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਰਹੀਁ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ।’”

ਤਾਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੈਠਕ ਬੁਲਾਈ। ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ 400 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਨਬੀ ਸਨ। ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ? ਜਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਲਈ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਾਂ?” ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਬਖਸ਼ੇਗਾ।”
Jeremiah 29:9
ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ।” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ।
