Jeremiah 26:1
ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਬਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਉਦੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋਹ ਨੇ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਥਾਵੇ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋਹ ਨੇ ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਧਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮਰਿਆ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨਕਾਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਰਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨਿਕਾਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਚੌਬੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਚੌਬਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਰੇਕਾਬੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੀ:

ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦਾ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜਨਾ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਚੌਬਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਸੀ:
