ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਘਰ ਜਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।” ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨੌਕਰ ਉਸੇ ਘੜੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭੂਤ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਾਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰ੍ਹੋਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੇ ਕਹੋਂਗੇ, ‘ਇੱਥੋਂ ਹੱਟ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾ’, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਅਨਹੋਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਹੇ ਬੀਬੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਚਾਹੇਂ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।” ਇਉਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਧੀ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਹੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।

ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੇਖਣ ਯੋਗ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।”

ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੀਂ, ਪਰ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਈਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਾਕੇ ਭੇਟਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਖੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।”

ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣੋ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਦ ਮਾਣੋ। ਆਪਣੀ ਮੈਅ ਪੀਓ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ।
