ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੁਪਿਨਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ। ਸੱਤ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਅਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਸਾਲ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ।

ਤਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖ਼ਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਮਝਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤਿੰਨ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ।

ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਦੋ ਜਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
