Genesis 30:6
ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਾਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
