Genesis 1:15
ਇਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਚਮਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।” ਅਤੇ ਇਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।

| lights for | לִמְאוֹרֹת֙ | limʾôrōt | leem-oh-ROTE |
| in the firmament | בִּרְקִ֣יעַ | birqîaʿ | beer-KEE-ah |
| heaven the of | הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-yeem |
| to give light | לְהָאִ֖יר | lĕhāʾîr | leh-ha-EER |
| upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
| earth: the | הָאָ֑רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| and it was | וַֽיְהִי | wayhî | VA-hee |
| so. | כֵֽן׃ | kēn | hane |
