Ezekiel 20:9
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੇਕ-ਨਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
