Exodus 8:22
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਰਤਾਉ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਗੋਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਖੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਹਾਂ।

| my people | עֹמֵ֣ד | ʿōmēd | oh-MADE |
| dwell, | עָלֶ֔יהָ | ʿālêhā | ah-LAY-ha |
| that no | לְבִלְתִּ֥י | lĕbiltî | leh-veel-TEE |
| swarms | הֱיֽוֹת | hĕyôt | hay-YOTE |
| be shall flies of | שָׁ֖ם | šām | shahm |
| there; | עָרֹ֑ב | ʿārōb | ah-ROVE |
| end the to | לְמַ֣עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| thou mayest know | תֵּדַ֔ע | tēdaʿ | tay-DA |
| that | כִּ֛י | kî | kee |
| I | אֲנִ֥י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| am the Lord | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| in the midst | בְּקֶ֥רֶב | bĕqereb | beh-KEH-rev |
