Exodus 3:15
ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ; ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਹਵੇਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਦਰ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣਗੇ।’ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।’”

Isaiah 9:6

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਕੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਸੱਕਣ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Deuteronomy 4:1

ਪਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਨਬੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਓਦੇਦ ਸੀ। ਓਦੇਦ ਉਸ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜੋ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤਾਈਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੈ।
Matthew 22:32
