Exodus 16:5
ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ, ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੈ।”

| אֵ֣ת | ʾēt | ate | |
| which that | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| they bring in; | יָבִ֑יאוּ | yābîʾû | ya-VEE-oo |
| and it shall be | וְהָיָ֣ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| twice | מִשְׁנֶ֔ה | mišne | meesh-NEH |
| as much as | עַ֥ל | ʿal | al |
| אֲשֶֽׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| they gather | יִלְקְט֖וּ | yilqĕṭû | yeel-keh-TOO |
