Exodus 16:27
ਸ਼ਨਿਚਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

| out went there that | בַּיּ֣וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |
| some of | הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י | haššĕbîʿî | ha-sheh-vee-EE |
| people the | יָֽצְא֥וּ | yāṣĕʾû | ya-tseh-OO |
| on the seventh | מִן | min | meen |
| day | הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| gather, to for | לִלְקֹ֑ט | lilqōṭ | leel-KOTE |
| and they found | וְלֹ֖א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| none. | מָצָֽאוּ׃ | māṣāʾû | ma-tsa-OO |
