ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ’ਚ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਲੰਗੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਲੰਗ ਲੱਤ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਹੀ, ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੈ।

Psalm 64:8
ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਉਂਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਲਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ, ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ, ਅਚਂਭੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਹਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ।
Proverbs 17:7
ਮੂਰਖ ਆਦਮੀ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੋਭਦਾ।
