ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ, ਇੱਥੇ ਖਲੋਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਆਖਣਾ ਹੈ।” ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਇੱਕ ਉਚੇਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ, ਇੱਥੇ ਖਲੋਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਆਖਣਾ ਹੈ।” ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਇੱਕ ਉਚੇਰੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
