Genesis 47:22
ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਸੀ। ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਉਜਰਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਅਨਾਜ ਖਰੀਦਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਆਸਨਥ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੋਟੀਫ਼ਰਾ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ। ਅਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਨਥ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਏ।
Genesis 41:45
ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਸਾਫ਼ਨਥ ਪਾਨੇਆਹ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੀ ਆਸਨਥ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੋਟੀਫ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
Genesis 14:18
ਮਲਕਿ-ਸਿਦਕ ਸਾਲੇਮ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ, ਮਲਕਿ-ਸਿਦਕ ਵੀ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਮਲਕਿ-ਸਿਦਕ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਸੀ। ਮਲਕਿ-ਸਿਦਕ ਰੋਟੀ ਤੇ ਮੈਅ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ।
