Genesis 12:20
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਫਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਣ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਗਏ।

Psalm 105:14
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਸਲੂਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Proverbs 21:1
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਜਣ ਲਈ ਛੋਟੇ ਖਾਲ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਹੋ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਧਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ, ਲੈ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ।
