Exodus 32:16
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਉਹ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ, ਉਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਲਿਖੇ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸੀਨਈ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਲਿਖਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
Exodus 34:4
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਸੁਵਖਤੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸੀਨਈ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
Deuteronomy 9:9
ਮੈਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਚਪਟੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਲਾਵਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ 40 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ 40 ਰਾਤਾਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੁਕਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਧਾ ਨਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਤਾ।

ਸੁਨਿਹਰੀ ਵੱਛਾ “ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਖਾਉ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਘੱਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਹੋ, ਇਹ ਪੱਤਰ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੱਥਰੀ ਤਖਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
2 Corinthians 3:7
ਨਵਾਂ ਕਰਾਰ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਗੌਰਵ ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਦਾ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਨਾ ਚਮਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਟੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕੇ ਪਰ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਇਹ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਫ਼ਿੱਕੀ ਪੈ ਗਈ।
Hebrews 8:10
ਇਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਰਾਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਰਾਰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
