ਕੁਰਿੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸੀਹੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕਰਾਇਆ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ “ਮਹਾਨ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ” ਨਾਲੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।

Ephesians 3:8
ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਮਝ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੈ।
Galatians 2:6
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ “ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ” ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹਨ।
2 Corinthians 12:12
ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਰਸੂਲ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਚਿਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਅਚੰਭੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਹਮਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੱਧ ਸੋਚਣ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੋਚੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰ ਸੱਕਾਂਗਾ।
2 Corinthians 1:6
ਜੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲਾਸੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਿਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Luke 17:10
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ? ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਖਾਸ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਲਾਇੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।’”
