ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਜਾਕੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਉਹ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਲੜਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀ ਬਚ ਨਾ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 400 ਜੁਆਨ ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਨਿਕਲੇ।
