Ecclesiastes 12:4
ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਟਾ ਪੀਹਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕੇਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਜਗਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੌਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੋਗੇ।

ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਟਾ ਪੀਹਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕੇਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਜਗਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੌਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੋਗੇ।
