ਮੂਸਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਤਿੰਨਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਛੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਭੱਜ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ 42 ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ।

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

“ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚੁਣੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
