Deuteronomy 31:2
ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ 120 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ: ‘ਤੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ’

| I them, | בֶּן | ben | ben |
| am an hundred | מֵאָה֩ | mēʾāh | may-AH |
| twenty and | וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים | wĕʿeśrîm | veh-es-REEM |
| years | שָׁנָ֤ה | šānâ | sha-NA |
| old | אָֽנֹכִי֙ | ʾānōkiy | ah-noh-HEE |
| this day; | הַיּ֔וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| can I | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| no | אוּכַ֥ל | ʾûkal | oo-HAHL |
| more | ע֖וֹד | ʿôd | ode |
| out go | לָצֵ֣את | lāṣēt | la-TSATE |
| and come in: | וְלָב֑וֹא | wĕlābôʾ | veh-la-VOH |
| also the Lord | וַֽיהוָה֙ | wayhwāh | vai-VA |
| hath said | אָמַ֣ר | ʾāmar | ah-MAHR |
| unto | אֵלַ֔י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI |
| me, Thou shalt not | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| go over | תַֽעֲבֹ֖ר | taʿăbōr | ta-uh-VORE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| this | הַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן | hayyardēn | ha-yahr-DANE |
