ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੇਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਵੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦਾ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਿਉ।’

“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਾਰਣ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਧੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਚੰਗੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Numbers 32:5
ਜੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਾ ਲਿਜਾਉ।”
Deuteronomy 11:11
ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Ezekiel 20:6
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੀ!
