Deuteronomy 25:19
ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੋ-ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਵੋ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲਿਉ।

ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੋ-ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਵੋ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲਿਉ।
