Deuteronomy 18:22
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਬੀ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਬੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚਾਰਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਡਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ “ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਬੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹੀ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਾਪਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿ, ਕੋਈ ਨਬੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵੀ ਆਵੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੋਲੇ। ਉਸ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Zechariah 1:5
