“ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਆਪੇ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕ ਹੋ। “ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਉਬਾਲੋ।
