Deuteronomy 1:42
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ!’

ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ!
Joshua 7:8

1 Samuel 4:2

Isaiah 59:1
ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਦਲਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਦੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
Hosea 9:12
ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ, ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ।”
