Deuteronomy 1:24
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ਕੋਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਛਾਣ-ਬੀਨ ਕੀਤੀ।

| into the mountain, | הָהָ֔רָה | hāhārâ | ha-HA-ra |
| came and | וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ | wayyābōʾû | va-ya-VOH-oo |
| unto | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| the valley | נַ֣חַל | naḥal | NA-hahl |
| Eshcol, of | אֶשְׁכֹּ֑ל | ʾeškōl | esh-KOLE |
| and searched it out. | וַֽיְרַגְּל֖וּ | wayraggĕlû | va-ra-ɡeh-LOO |
| אֹתָֽהּ׃ | ʾōtāh | oh-TA |
