Daniel 1:19
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਨ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ, ਹਨਨਯਾਹ, ਮੀਸ਼ਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਸਾਹ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਚਾਰੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣ ਗਏ।

| Mishael, | מִֽישָׁאֵ֖ל | mîšāʾēl | mee-sha-ALE |
| and Azariah: | וַעֲזַרְיָ֑ה | waʿăzaryâ | va-uh-zahr-YA |
| stood therefore | וַיַּֽעַמְד֖וּ | wayyaʿamdû | va-ya-am-DOO |
