Colossians 3
1 ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਨਮਿੱਤ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪੁਨਰ ਉੱਥਾਨ ਮਸੀਹ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ। ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
2 ਸਵਰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਸੋਚੋ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
3 ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਆਪਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਸੀਹ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
4 ਮਸੀਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।
5 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਓ। ਉਹ ਹਨ; ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪ, ਅਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ, ਲਾਲਸਾ, ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਉਪਾਸੱਕ ਹਨ।
6 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
7 ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
8 ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਓ; ਨਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ, ਦੁਰਭਾਵਨਾ, ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨੀ।
9 ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੋ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਛੱਡ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ।
10 ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
11 ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ, ਜਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਸੱਕੂਥੀ ਹਨ, ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਹੈ।
12 ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕੀ ਹੋ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ, ਕਿਰਪਾ, ਨਿਮ੍ਰਤਾ, ਸੱਜਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਹੋ।
13 ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
14 ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੋ; ਪਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ। ਪਿਆਰ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੀ ਹੈ।
15 ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਸੀਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੋਵੋ।
16 ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਸਣ ਦਿਉ। ਸਾਰੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੋ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਰ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਜਨ, ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ।
17 ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਦਿਉ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ।
18 ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰੋ ਪਤਨੀਓ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕਰੋ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।
19 ਪਤੀਓ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਤਮੀਜ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
20 ਬੱਚਿਓ, ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਖਾ ਮੰਨੋ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
21 ਪਿਤਾਓ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਓ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸਖਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
22 ਨੌਕਰੋ, ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੰਨੋ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰੋ।
23 ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੋ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
24 ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
25 ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 ਮਸੀਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਓ; ਨਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ, ਦੁਰਭਾਵਨਾ, ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨੀ।
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੋ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਛੱਡ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ।
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ, ਜਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਸੱਕੂਥੀ ਹਨ, ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਹੈ।
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕੀ ਹੋ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ, ਕਿਰਪਾ, ਨਿਮ੍ਰਤਾ, ਸੱਜਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਹੋ।
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੋ; ਪਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ। ਪਿਆਰ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੀ ਹੈ।
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਸੀਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੋਵੋ।
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਸਣ ਦਿਉ। ਸਾਰੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੋ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਰ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਜਨ, ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ।
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਦਿਉ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ।
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰੋ ਪਤਨੀਓ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕਰੋ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 ਪਤੀਓ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਤਮੀਜ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 ਬੱਚਿਓ, ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਖਾ ਮੰਨੋ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 ਪਿਤਾਓ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਓ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸਖਤ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 ਨੌਕਰੋ, ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੰਨੋ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰੋ।
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
23 ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੋ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
