Acts 18:2
ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਜੋ ਪੁੰਤੁਸ ਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਪਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਸੱਕਿੱਲਾ ਇਤਾਲਿਯਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਹੀ ਕੁਰਿੰਥੁਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕਲੌਦਿਯੁਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਰੋਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਣ, ਤਾਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਸੱਕਿੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ।

ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਜੋ ਪੁੰਤੁਸ ਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਪਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਸੱਕਿੱਲਾ ਇਤਾਲਿਯਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਹੀ ਕੁਰਿੰਥੁਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕਲੌਦਿਯੁਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਰੋਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਣ, ਤਾਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਅਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਸੱਕਿੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ।
