ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਰੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਲ ਖੇਡੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਲੰਗਾ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੀਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਜਾ ਤੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਠੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵਾਂ।’

ਮਫ਼ੀਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ! ਮੇਰੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਲ ਖੇਡੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਲੰਗਾ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੀਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਜਾ ਤੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਠੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵਾਂ।’
