2 Samuel 19:19
ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ! ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਸੀ।

| do thou remember | וְאַל | wĕʾal | veh-AL |
| תִּזְכֹּ֗ר | tizkōr | teez-KORE | |
| which that | אֵ֚ת | ʾēt | ate |
| thy servant | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| perversely did | הֶֽעֱוָ֣ה | heʿĕwâ | heh-ay-VA |
| the day | עַבְדְּךָ֔ | ʿabdĕkā | av-deh-HA |
| that | בַּיּ֕וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |
| lord my | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| the king | יָׄצָ֥ׄאׄ | yāṣāʾ | ya-TSA |
| went out | אֲדֹנִֽי | ʾădōnî | uh-doh-NEE |
| Jerusalem, of | הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
| that the king | מִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם | mîrûšālāim | mee-roo-sha-la-EEM |
