ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਖਬਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਤਦ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।”
