2 Peter 2:5
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਨੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਨੂਹ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਨੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਨੂਹ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
