ਤਦ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਕਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਆਏ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਹੇ।

ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੰਮਿਸਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਕਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਫ਼ਕਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਕਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ 1,20,000 ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ਕਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ’ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
Isaiah 7:1
ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯੋਥਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯੋਥਾਮ ਉਜ਼ੀਯ੍ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਰਸੀਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫਕਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਸੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਕਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਓੱਥੇ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇ।
Isaiah 7:14
ਪਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗਾ: ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਉਹ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਇਮਾਨੂਏਲ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
Isaiah 8:6
ਮੇਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਿਲੋਆਹ ਦੇ ਤਲਾ ਦੇ ਧੀਮੀ ਗਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਰਸੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਪੇਕਾਹ) ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹਨ।”

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਜੰਗ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਦੂਰ ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਦੇਸੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ! ਜੰਗ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ!
Isaiah 9:6
ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਜਿਂਮਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, “ਅਦਭੁੱਤ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ, ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਹ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਮਨ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਾ।”
