ਤਦ ਯਾਬੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ੱਲੁਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਇਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਧੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਲੇਆਮ ਮਾਰਕੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਖੁਦ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ।

ਪਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਨੁੱਖ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ। ਤੀਰ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਥ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਢਹਿ-ਢੇਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਤਦ ਗਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਨਹੇਮ ਤਿਰਸਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜ ਗਿਆ। ਮਨਹੇਮ ਨੇ ਯਾਬੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ੱਲੁਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਕਹ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਗੋਬ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਯੇਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ 50 ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਖੁਦ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ।

ਏਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ ਨੇ ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਕਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਆਪ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ। ਇਹ ਉਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਥਾਮ ਦੇ 20 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਯਿਜ਼ਰੇਲ ਰੱਖ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਬੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਯੇਹੂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਜ਼ਰੇਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਹਾਏ ਗਏ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
Amos 7:9
ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਥਾਂ ਵੀਰਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਕੂੜੇ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ’ਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ।”
