ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਸੰਤ ਰੁੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਆਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਵੜੇ। ਉਹ ਜੰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸਨ।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਣਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇਂਗਾ?” ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਮੇਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ।”

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੜੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਤਾ। ਫੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਰਾਮ ’ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ।

ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆਏ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਨਅਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੋਆਬੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਏ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
2 Kings 3:5
ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
Judges 6:3
ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀ, ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਆਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਏਹੂਦ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
