ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ! ਜੋ ਕੰਮ ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਆਖੇ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਤੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੌਥੀ ਪੀੜੀ ਤੀਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਦੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ।”

ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ 23ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਤੋਂ ਯੇਹੂ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਉੱਪਰ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 17 ਸਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।
Hosea 1:4
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਯਿਜ਼ਰੇਲ ਰੱਖ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਬੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਯੇਹੂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਜ਼ਰੇਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਹਾਏ ਗਏ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
Ezekiel 29:18
“ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਤ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਾਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਂਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹਰ ਮੋਢਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੋਝ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਰਗੜ ਕੇ ਨੰਗਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।”

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਥੋੜੀ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ 38ਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ।
1 Kings 21:29
“ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਨੂੰ ਬੜਾ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਇਹ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਨਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਨਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਤਦ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਇਹ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।”

ਤਾਂ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਇਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਦਲੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।”
1 Samuel 15:18
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਪਾਪੀ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਦੇ। ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦਾ ਰਹਿ।’
