ਯੇਹੂ ਦਾ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਣਾ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ 70 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਿਜ਼ਰਏਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ। ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਚਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ,

ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ 70 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲੱਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਕੇ ਯੇਹੂ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ਫ਼ਾਟ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਚਾਹਵੰਦ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।” ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾ ਰਹੀ।
2 Kings 5:3
ਇਸ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੇ ਨਅਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕਾਸ਼ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਨਅਮਾਨ) ਉਸ ਨਬੀ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਜੋ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ (ਆਲੀਸ਼ਾ) ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਤਦ ਈਜ਼ਬਲ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਖਤ ਲਿਖੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਖਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੋਹਰ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜਣਾ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਬੋਥ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਮਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ 68 ਕਿਲੋ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇਕੇ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ “ਸ਼ਮਰ” ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
Judges 12:14
ਅਬਦੋਨ ਦੇ 40 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ 30 ਪੋਤਰੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ 70 ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਅਬਦੋਨ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੱਠ ਸਾਲ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ।
Judges 10:4
ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ 30 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਜੋ ਕਿ 30 ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 30 ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ 30 ਨਗਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Deuteronomy 16:18
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ “ਹਰ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣੋ। ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ, ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
