ਤਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ, ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਕਿ, ਪਰਮਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਤੋੜਦੇ ਹੋ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਰਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਠਾ ਮੋੜ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਮੋੜ ਲਵੇਗਾ।

Numbers 11:25
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬੱਦਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਆਤਮਾ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਆਤਮਾ 70 ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪਰ ਇਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਮੌਕਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ।
