ਤਦ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਨਅਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਨਅਮਾਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾ ਬੜਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬੜਾ ਵੀਰ-ਯੋਧਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਬੜਾ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਸੀ।
Judges 7:18
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਈਏ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਣੀਆਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਲਾਉਣਾ: ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਲਈ!’”
Judges 4:15
ਬਾਰਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਭਲ-ਭੂਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਰਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੱਥ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਪੈਦਲ ਦੌੜ ਗਿਆ।
Joshua 11:8
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਵੇ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਡੇਰੇ ਸੀਦੋਨ, ਮਿਸਰਫ਼ੋਥ ਮਇਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸਫ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਓਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਲੜਦੀ ਰਹੀ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
Joshua 6:20
ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਈਆਂ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਕੰਧਾਂ ਢਹਿ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਧੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਲ ਦੌੜੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਚੱਕਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਈਆਂ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ: “ਹੁਣ, ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ!
