ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸਤਰ-ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਾਏ। ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦਾ ਟੋਪ ਪੁਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰਾ-ਬਖਤਰ ਪੁਆਇਆ।
