ਕੀ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ 1,000 ਬੰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਦੋ ਬੰਦੇ 10,000 ਬੰਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ? ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਵੇਚ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ!
1 Samuel 13:6
ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੂਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਖੁੰਦਰਾਂ, ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਫ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਅਹੁਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੁਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਥੱਲੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ’ਚ ਖੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੋਇਆਂ ਆਦਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕ ਗਏ।

ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਜੋ ਗੋਲਿਆਥ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੜੇ ਡਰ ਗਏ।

ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੁਨੇਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ (ਇਸਰਾਏਲ) ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਠ੍ਠਜੋੜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।” ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਬ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
Isaiah 30:17
ਇੱਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪੰਜ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਗੱਡੇ ਝੰਡੇ, ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੈਨਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੋ।
