ਉਸ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ।
