ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਹ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਕੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਟੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ, ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੋ ਸਮਤਲ ਕਰਕੇ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੋ ਆਰਾ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ ਸਹੀ ਮਾਪ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੀਰੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਇਹ ਨੀਂਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਤੀਕ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਵੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
