ਫ਼ਿਰ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਦੋਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੇਗਾਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਪਥਰਾਓ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਛੇਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਥ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਨੱਸ ਗਿਆ।

ਤਾਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 30,000 ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
