ਤਦ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਵੈਸੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ।”
