1 John 4:20
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ,” ਪਰ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਭੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਅਪਣੇ ਉਸ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇੰਝ ਇਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੰਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
